This course reinforces theories needed for the application of the nursing process with emphasis on the skills useful in data gathering and analysis for conducting physical assessment across the life span. Normal and abnormal physical, social, and cultural structures and functions are explored. Practical application of the knowledge obtained in this course is integrated and will occur in a simulated practice setting where students will apply selected principles and skills.
