This course focuses on young children's exploration and creative expression in the areas of art, music, movement and dramatic play through process-oriented experiences.  Emphasis is placed on developing strategies for using various open-ended media representing a range of approaches in creative thinking.   Student teachers will explore developmentally appropriate experiences in art, music, movement and dramatics for young children. The relationship of creative experiences to the total educational program of young children, and as a tool for integrating the curriculum will be explored.
