College English 1 (ENGL 1014) is designed to develop students’ writing abilities by building analytical, mechanical, and expressive skills. This course focuses on writing as a process and emphasizes the improvement of these skills through continuous practice. It also focuses on expository writing, using a variety of approaches. Students carry out research and documentation of sources, with an emphasis on APA style.
