ENGL3155 focuses on forms of communication in contemporary organizations. As much as possible, the course attempts to tailor assignments to students’ own fields of study and expertise. Students analyse ways of collecting and presenting information as well as create their own documents based on models introduced in class. In this regard, topics include: professional writing standards, writing instructional manuals and business correspondence, planning and conducting research, and writing reports and proposals.
