2020-1 AAGR1111O BIOLOGY OF FARM CROPS AND LIVESTOCK
This course is mandatory for first year students enrolled in the Associate in Applied Agriculture degree program. This is a 3 credit lecture and lab course that provides a general description of the gross anatomy and physiology of the farm animals and crops. The classroom lecture will be reinforced with outdoor or indoor practical hands on, as well as identification and differentiation of carcass from slaughtered animals and plant materials. A field trip to a farm establishment will also be conducted to supplement the applied knowledge in all sessions
