Senior Project 1 is designed to provide students with introductory level statistical and research methods theoretical information that they will use to explore Agriculture and Agribusiness topics. Students will learn the basic concepts, theories, methods, and scientific process of conducting research projects. This course is intended to prepare students for the next level of Senior Project and to guide students through the process of topic selection, problem statement, planning and design, methodology selection, and data collection and interpretation. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to apply basic research methods skills to write agricultural based proposal; as well as using statistical tools to analyze and possible answer basic agricultural questions.
