2020-2 SWRK4152 SOCIAL WORK SUPERVISION
Social Work in Supervision is an intermediate course, which introduces students to concepts of supervision, stages of development, and skills for effective leadership as a supervisor. The course covers selected theories for working with client systems while reviewing context of supervision, conduct of supervision, legal and regulatory issues in supervision, ethical concerns, technology, evaluation and outcomes, and termination. Emphasis is placed on understanding roles, functions, and practice within a generalist framework grounded in social work ethical practice.
