2020-2 SWRK3502 SOCIAL WORK RESEARCH

This is an introductory course in social sciences research methodologies designed to provide a scientific, analytic and ethical approach to building knowledge for practice using both qualitative and quantitative research methods used in social science research.

This course requires that students conduct a practice evaluation (AB Design) research and introduces students to qualitative and quantitative methods used in social sciences. Students will learn methodologies techniques that facilitate the research process such as gaining access to a setting, data collection, data analysis and report writing.
