2020-2 NURS3101P NURSING CARE OF THE ADULT POPULATION PRACT.

This clinical practicum provides for the application of health and nursing concepts and theories in the care of the adult patient and family. It is guided by evidence- practice in the provision of safe ethical and legal care. Emphasis is also placed on practicing interdisciplinary health care and advocacy in order to promote health and prevent illness, disability and disease of the adult. It enforces the role of the nurse in assisting the individual to maintain wellness and minimize effects of illness/disease on the individual and family.
