2020-2 ALHL3012 PATHOLOGY OF HUMAN DISEASE

The course, Pathology of Human Disease, includes the etiology and mechanisms of common disease states and integrates pathology with previous knowledge from Human Anatomy and Physiology to provide the basic concepts of pathology in relation to the development of various diseases and diseases processes. This course will provide the foundation for further studies in Therapeutics & clinical laboratory science. As such, it covers the pathophysiology of disease processes, basic concepts of microbial diseases and neoplasms; and fluid and electrolyte imbalance. In addition, it focuses on various disorders of various body systems, organs, tissues and cells with practical applications for the allied health professional.
