This course provides secondary educators with an understanding of the myriad curriculum alternatives and with strategies for developing a broad and balanced school based curriculum. Topics include: curriculum theories, curriculum evaluation, types of curriculum, curriculum structure and development. Students develop skills to assess, plan and implement national and regional standardized curricula.
