Students will be able to systematically and accurately ascertain quantities and compose concise descriptions of the materials and labor required and produce simple bills of quantities for domestic and simple industrial building projects. Main section taking-off topics include: superstructure walls and associated items; flat and pitched roofs; adjustment for openings; finishing: floor, walls, ceilings: adjustments of openings.
