EDUC1252 NATURE OF THE LEARNER

The nature of the learner focuses on the study of child growth and development. It seeks to introduce the student teachers to basic principles of growth and development from early childhood to adolescence. The course also identifies factors that influence growth and development and examines major developmental theories that seek to explain how growth and development occur. As a result student teachers are more equipped to cater to the needs of all learners in the primary school system.
