2020-3 ACTG3015 PRINCIPLES OF MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING
This course is designed to give an introduction to basic Managerial Accounting. It is an important branch of accounting that provides the information needed by managers to determine how resources should be obtained and used in any type of business, large or small. These resources include people, money, equipment, technology and real estate. The information generated is geared to satisfying the internal reporting needs of managers. In every organization resources are limited in supply, but the demand for them is unlimited. Managers must therefore make good decisions to obtain and use the organizations resources in the best possible way to achieve their primary goals. Good decision-making is highly dependent on good information.
