Business Strategy and Policy Course is a comprehensive course that incorporates all previous business courses covered during the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree Program in Business Studies, at the University of Belize. It is designed to place the student as the decision maker in an organization. The student is required to utilized previously acquired knowledge acquired to: 1. Conduct research of the existing organization, analyze its current state, evaluate its external and internal environment, 2. To be able to draft a new direction for the organization utilizing a series of strategic planning tools outlined in the text. 3. Hypothetically implement the Strategic plan and 4. Evaluate the viability of the strategic plan. This requires that the student plans, organize, leads, and control the organization's goals and objectives in an efficient and effective manner.
