This is a three credit transfer-level course. The major cost accounting systems are thoroughly studied. Topics emphasized include direct cost versus indirect costs, variable versus fixed, CVP Analysis, job costing, activity based costing, master budget and responsibility accounting, flexible budget and variances, inventory costing and capacity analysis, cost behavior and decision making.
