2021-2 BAGR3351 PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The course defines projects and discusses the various types along with aspects of preparation and analysis. The project Cycle and its components follows with limitations to Agricultural Project Analysis. Project Objectives, with various Costs and Benefits including primary, secondary and both tangible and intangible are dealt with. Guidelines for Project Preparation are presented and will be discussed in detail. The class will practice the development of Risk Management registers with mitigation plans for a variety of agriculture projects. Developing a realistic project concept for possible funding through a local Development bank is given as a term project.
