2020-2 ENGL1035 - SPECIAL REQUEST COMPOSING PROCESS

In this second year composition course, students produce writings that focus on issues of national importance in Belize. They analyze various types of texts and conduct research into cultural, political, social, environmental, and economic factors that shape the Belizean society. The course culminates in the writing of an 8 to 10-page research paper that demonstrates mastery of academic writing conventions, including standard documentation styles. This section of The Composing Process, with course number ENGL1035B1, is delivered via a blended modality, with 70 percent of course activities done online and 30 percent on campus.
