This is an introductory level course intended to provide non-science students with a general introduction to topics typically discussed in the fields of environmental science and conservation with an emphasis on sustainable development. Major topics discussed in this course include: fundamental ecological concepts; sources and solutions to environmental impacts; advantages and disadvantages of renewable and non-renewable sources of energy.
