This course provides secondary educators with an understanding of the myriad curriculum alternatives and with strategies for developing a broad and balanced school based curriculum after examining theoretical perspectives in alignment with the Philosophical Orientation of the National Secondary School Curriculum, and Regional Subject Specific Curriculum. This course helps to formulate a link between the requirement of the secondary schools curriculum which is inclusive of CCSLC and CXC and the areas of specialization.
