As part of the enrolment process, all incoming first-year students will be required to take the University Placement Exams. Proper placement in the critical courses of reading, writing, and math helps to ensure student success and allows you to advance more quickly to your degree goals.

Placement Exam is required before you can enroll in any writing and/or math class at the Associate Degree Level. You will be required to take the exam if you:

  1. Do not match the passing criteria outlined in the table below. Students with less than thirty-five (35) in Math and sixty (60) in English n the ATLIB Exams are required to sit the placement exam.
  2. Completed the ATLIB EXAM more than 5 years ago.
  3. Do not provide official ATLIB scores for admissions.
