Responsibility: 

The Director is responsible for providing direction and leadership in the development of the Open and Distance Learning unit within the framework of the university’s mission and for the monitoring and support of programs, infrastructure, and systems to support open and distance learning students and programs.

Responsibility:

The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the University’s Mission and Vision for online learning. The designer develops online and technology-based instructional environments and resources.  Furthermore, the designer is responsible to provide educational technology workshops and practical training to faculty administrative staff, and students. More importantly, Dr. Faber is responsible for the editing and quality assurance of online courses.

Responsibility: 

The program coordinator is responsible for the growth of the Pre-University Education (PUED) program at the University. This includes the identification, development, marketing, and monitoring of the PUED program offered by ODL. Equally important, the Coordinator handles multiple responsibilities, solves complex problems, and provides leadership, supervision, and direction to the Pre University Education Instructors ensuring consistency with the mission and vision of the University of Belize.
