Social Work Practice III SWRK3201 Social Work Practice III

Social Work with Groups seeks to provide students with knowledge and skills on group development, facilitation and interventions with a variety of small and large groups. Students will learn to work with groups using the problem solving model; beginning with identifying areas of concern, engagement, data collection, assessment, designing and implementation of interventions and evaluation. Application of social work values and ethics, group theory, cultural competent practice, strengthen and empowerment frameworks are emphasized.
